Jerry Plunkett (vice chancellor of research and technology; Jerry was a materials engineer, inventor, businessman, and historian who found success starting new ventures; throughout his career he launched numerous companies to implement his ideas.) 6-10-25 

Elizabeth “Liz” Tuttle (professor emeritus, physics; for decades, Liz was the only tenured female faculty member in engineering; she was an accomplished scholar in theoretical physics and is remembered for putting the university and students first; in recognition for her leadership, she was awarded the 1974-1975 Distinguished Teaching Award.) 5-18-25
