Despite chilly weather, determined students camped out for a chance to win a golden ticket as part of a beloved DU tradition since 2001.

Edina High School students traded their yellow and green Hornet attire for crimson and gold to bring the pep during DU's Frozen Four run.
The Pios shut out Boston College 2-0 to become the first to reach 10 national championships—the most of any collegiate program.
Students spilled onto Evans and University Boulevard to celebrate DU’s historic win.
Alumni in the Windy City cheered so loudly that they could be heard all the way from St. Paul.
Bay Area alumni congratulated the Pios on their shutout victory over the BC Eagles.

On a flagpole just outside Magness Arena hangs the new #1 flag that celebrates the University winning a national championship or being ranked No. 1 in the country.
DIA employees welcomed players back to Colorado with a water salute.
Gov. Jared Polis commemorated DU’s place in “the city of champions.”

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston joined the Pios in Magness Arena for a post-Championship party with students, staff, alumni and die-hard fans.

Fellow championship club members the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche celebrated DU courtside and in the box.
Even Dinger got in on the action when Goalie Matt Davis was invited to Coors Field for the Rockies’ first pitch.
Center Massimo Rizzo earned a spot in the big leagues on a two-year, entry-level contract with the Flyers.
The Penguins noticed Tristan Broz’s prowess as a forward, signing him to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Defenseman Shai Buium finished out the season with the Grand Rapids Griffins after signing a three-year contract with the Red Wings.
NCHC Defensive Defenseman of the Year Sean Behrens is sticking around Denver, joining the Avalanche on a three-year, entry-level contract.
