Alumni Golf Tournament

8 a.m. - 2 p.m. | University of Denver Golf Course at Highlands Ranch

The DU Alumni Council is excited to host the seventh Annual Alumni Golf Tournament at the picturesque University of Denver Golf Course at Highlands Ranch. This DU tradition promises a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition and the chance to reconnect with fellow alumni while enjoying a round of golf on one of Colorado's premier courses.

DU Vin Dinner

Thursday, May 15 | 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. | Tuscan Ballroom

The Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management invites you to a delicious meal at the University of Denver. DU Vin offers a special and unique experience to everyone who attends. This event is entirely planned and executed by senior hospitality students, showcasing the valuable skills they’ve learned over the course of the four years spent in the hospitality program.

All ticket proceeds benefit student scholarships and programs in the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management in the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. Your ticket contribution ensures that future students can have exciting experiential learning opportunities.

Senior Design Symposium

9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Ritchie School of Engineering & Computer Science

Join us for our annual Senior Design Symposium at the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science. Students work in self-directed interdisciplinary teams, partnering with industry and faculty to conceive, design, prototype, verify and validate a system to solve a specific customer problem. Students have collaborated with a variety of companies, including Lockheed Martin, Daqscribe, Blind Institute for Technology, Eventum Orthopedics, Agile Orthopedics and many more. The day begins with presentations from 9 - 10:30 a.m. in Room 510, followed by demonstrations and poster sessions around the building from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Register here.

The Rising Executive: How to Integrate Leadership Goals with Your Career Strategy

Join Stephanie Sindt, executive coach and founder of Simplify Your Career, for a session on building a career with executive ambitions. You’ll learn how to define your long-term leadership vision, identify key career-building opportunities, and develop essential leadership skills. The session will also cover strategies for positioning yourself for executive roles while staying aligned with your values. Psychedelic Art of Denver's 1960's Music Scene

This session features Scott Montgomery, faculty in the School of Art and Art History at the University of Denver. It will explore the history of the Family Dog Denver through the posters created for it in 1967-68. This short-lived rock and roll club in south Denver was the epicenter of watershed changes in culture, music and art. Using the posters as our guides, this presentation traces the musical, artistic and cultural legacy of the Family Dog Denver.

Arboretum Tour

Join Biological Sciences faculty member Dr. Julie Morris for a tour of DU's Chester M. Alter Arboretum! Featuring over 400 plant and tree species, this 75-minute tour will take you throughout campus to learn about the flora and fauna within the grounds.
